We are all different. Understanding those differences can improve communication with family, customers, coworkers and even bosses. Drawing on the work of many researchers, this course will explore ways of understanding people so that we can find a common language. This seminar is specifically designed to address the core of knowledge section on Management/Supervision of Staff.

 

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of this seminar, you will be able to:
• Differentiate between typical right brain and left brain activities.
• Identify four styles of learning as described by Ian Fleming,
• Identify five sources of motivation as described by Abraham Maslow,
• Identify six bases of social power as described by John French and Bertram Raven,
• Identify seven kinds of intelligence as described by Howard Gardner, and
• Identify the eight stages of human development as described by Erik Erikson.
