Description
California Statute and Regulation define the “Rules” or scope of care that can be provided to a resident in the Department of Public Health or Community Care Licensed Facility. It is essential that Administrators have a working knowledge of these rules so as to ensure that end of life care is provided by appropriately skilled professionals when necessary, and to guide unlicensed direct care staff on their appropriate roles and duties. This course is specifically designed as a review of the Statute and Regulations addressing Hospice Care in the Skilled Nursing Facility, Community Care or Residential Care Facility. This program is specifically designed to meet the Core of Knowledge section on Law and Regulations.
