The incidence of new body-fluid borne infections continues to rapidly escalate in California, including HIV, Hepatitis, bacterial and other pathogens. Additionally, the concepts of infection prevention are not well understood nor practiced in the residential care setting. This seminar provides care administrators and professionals with current information on potentially communicable diseases, and infection control and prevention strategies in a frank and straight-forward manner. This seminar is specifically designed to address the Core of Knowledge section on Management/Supervision of Staff.
